Rounds 1 and 2: Your base school must have a current crowding factor at least 95% of the adjusted building capacity. Round 1 is for applicants who submitted an application for the same program last year.

How will the new reassignment fit into all of this. My base school was hodge road, now it's knightdale elementary. Just wondering how the reassignment changes the percentage at knightdale elementary and possibly increases my changes of getting into a magnet program for my kindergartener
They use the figures from this school year to determine your round in the lottery. They don't take into account what the schools will look like next year.
Hey I'm new to the area and trying figure all of this out.
I know you can choice up to 3 schools. Do they consider the first choice then second etc. or do the system just randomly pull any one of the three off your application. I'm told different things. My first two choices are schools I really really love and then my third choice is one I like enough that I would be ok if that was chosen. Just don't my third choice to mess up the chance for her to be pick for the other two choices.
